Pharmacy Technician

Founders RX is a closed-door pharmacy servicing the needs of Skilled Nursing Facilities around the state of Colorado. We are seeking an individual that is passionate about healthcare and patient well-being, with a keen understanding of medications and their proper use. Founders RX is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Pharmacy Technician to join our team and play a crucial role in delivering quality pharmaceutical services to our valued customers. As a Pharmacy Technician at Founders RX, your primary responsibility will be to process and fill prescriptions accurately and efficiently. Under the guidance of a pharmacist, you will assist in providing exceptional customer service, ensuring compliance with all relevant policies and regulations, and maintaining the highest standards of pharmacy operations. Schedule: Full-time and Part-time Hours M-F 8am-8pm rotating open/close shift and Sat/Sun 9am-5pm rotating weekends Essential Functions and Responsibilities: Adhere to and promote the CAPLICO Core Values consistently. Ensure compliance with Resident Rights and HIPAA policies at all times. Sterilize surfaces and equipment, preparing the pharmacy for daily operations. Greet customers warmly and respond to their inquiries courteously via phone. Receive prescriptions and verify their validity. Process prescriptions electronically, ensuring all information is complete and accurate. Resolve issues promptly, such as rejected insurance claims, to maintain smooth operations. Accurately measure dosages and select appropriate medicines to fill prescriptions. Organize, stock, and label medication while monitoring inventory levels. Specific Requirements: Proven experience as a pharmacy technician. Experience with an online prescription system is a plus. Knowledge of medication and dosage measurement. Familiarity with pharmacy law and medical terminology. Excellent communication and customer service skills. Outstanding organizational skills and attention to detail. Reliable with a strong commitment to accuracy. Successful completion of a pharmacy technician program/educational requirements. Pharmacy Technician Certification - Required.
