ACG is hiring a Finance & Estimating Analyst to support construction estimating, cost validation, and financial accuracy from bid preparation through project award and accounting handoff. This role bridges Estimating and Finance, ensuring labor, materials, subcontractor pricing, and budgets are accurate, documented, and aligned with ACG standards. The position operates in a high‐expectation, fast‐paced environment where discipline, accuracy, and follow‐through are non‐negotiable. What You Will Do Support preparation and review of detailed construction cost estimates Validate labor, material, equipment, and subcontractor pricing Review Bills of Materials (BOMs) for accuracy and completeness Support RSMeans‐based pricing and cost benchmarking Coordinate with Estimating and Project Management during bid and award stages Support estimate‐to‐project financial handoff to Accounting Assist with budget setup, cost tracking, and margin validation Review subcontractor proposals for completeness and alignment with scope Maintain organized estimating and financial documentation Support audits and internal reviews related to estimates and budgets Experience 3–5+ years of experience in construction estimating, cost analysis, or finance/accounting Experience supporting construction bids, budgets, or project cost controls Familiarity with federal, public, or commercial construction pricing preferred Experience with RSMeans or structured cost databases preferred Strong Excel‐based cost modeling and analysis experience Skills – All Office Positions (respected from template) Tech‐savvy; AI tools; MS365 Strong organizational discipline and documentation habits Ability to thrive in a fast‐paced, high‐volume environment Bilingual (Spanish preferred; English required) Technical & Financial Skills Construction cost estimating and cost analysis Budget development, validation, and margin analysis Bill of Materials (BOM) review and reconciliation Labor, material, and subcontractor cost evaluation RSMeans or structured cost databases (preferred) Strong Excel skills for cost modeling, variance analysis, and reporting Ability to analyze drawings, specifications, and scopes for cost impact Understanding of estimate‐to‐project and estimate‐to‐accounting handoff Estimating & Bid Support Quantity takeoffs and cost verification Subcontractor proposal review and leveling Value engineering and cost optimization support Coordination with Estimating Managers and Project Managers during bid and award phases Support for audits, internal reviews, and pricing validations Finance & Accounting Awareness Budget tracking and cost control support Familiarity with job cost structures and project financial reporting Understanding of how estimates translate into project budgets and invoices Support for cost accuracy during project setup and accounting handoff Systems & Tools Microsoft Excel (advanced formulas, pivot tables, cost models) Microsoft 365 (Outlook, Teams, SharePoint) Estimating and takeoff tools (e.g., Bluebeam preferred) ERP or accounting systems exposure (Odoo or similar preferred) Professional & Operational Skills High attention to detail and numerical accuracy Strong documentation discipline and file organization Ability to work under deadlines in a high‐volume bid environment Clear written and verbal communication across Finance, Estimating, and Operations Ownership mindset with strong follow‐through Company DescriptionAt ACG, hard work leads to real results: career advancement, increased earning potential, certifications, mentorship, and long term stability.
