Job Title: Senior Controls Engineer Location: Austin, TexasCompensation: Up to 125k DOEPosition OverviewWe are seeking a highly skilled Senior Controls Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing control systems for various automation projects. This role requires a strong background in electrical engineering and control systems, along with expertise in PLC programming and HMI design.Key ResponsibilitiesDesign and develop control systems for automation projects.Program PLCs and HMIs for efficient operation and integration in Siemens.Collaborate with electrical engineers to ensure power distribution systems meet project requirements.Conduct troubleshooting and debugging of control systems to ensure optimal performance.Create and review electrical schematics and documentation using AutoCAD.Integrate various control technologies, including Mitsubishi, Siemens, and Fanuc.Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure project timelines and objectives are met.QualificationsBachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.Minimum of 5 years of experience in controls engineering.Proficiency in PLC programming and HMI design.Siemens and Mitsubishi experience preferred.Experience with control systems integration and troubleshooting.Strong knowledge of power distribution and electrical design principles.Familiarity with industry-standard tools such as AutoCAD.Benefits- Medical, Dental, Vision- 401 (k) Matching- HSA- Flexible work arrangements- Bonus Opportunities- Flexible Paid Time Off & Holidays- Visa Sponsorships
