Outdoor Sales Assistant Manager

As a Fly Fishing Sales and Guiding Associate at Anglers Lane, you will be the face of our store, engaging with customers to provide exceptional service while promoting our extensive range of fly fishing products, outdoor apparel, and guided fly fishing trips and lodging locations. Looking for candidates with prior experience in guiding, fishing or fly fishing, and retail sales. This role is vital in supporting our mission to connect people with the outdoors through quality products and guided fly fishing trips. Responsibilities Sales – work with customers to resolve their wants and needs while selling merchandise and clothing; book guided trips and fishing lodging run through our shop. Candidate must have selling skills. Operate POS systems accurately for sales transactions. Assist in inventory management and purchasing. Qualifications Proven experience in fishing or fly fishing Retail sales or customer service Solid knowledge fly fishing products. Offer prior (fly) fishing experience, or fishing skills and/or knowledge of local streams. Strong communication skills Proficiency in MS Excel. Familiarity with cash registers and POS systems is helpful.
