Job TitleJob Description/Project Details: This resource will be brought onto the team to help a state agency build applications to generate reports for districts, front end web development on current application on website in order for agency to retrieve information, and overall rewrite state reporting applications.Position ResponsibilitiesReview and analyze organizations business needs, confer with users to evaluate requirements, discuss solutions, and develop plans of approach, including project completion time estimatesPerform all aspects of systems design, including writing required programs, testing time evaluation of new processes, and implementation of new applicationsConduct or coordinate user acceptance, performance stress, regression and integration testing, and make changes and corrections as neededDevelop process/system design alternatives for major portions of systems under analysisDesign output formats and user formats as dictated by user specification and established procedure to ensure ease of use and functionalityIdentify problems and develop appropriate solutionsEvaluate interrelationships in immediate programming area to determine how changes in one program will affect other applicationsProduce deliverables related to the assigned projects, perform analysis, design, development, testing, implementation, and maintenance of systems and procedures to solve complex business problemsPrepare program documentation to support new or enhanced systems and applicationsParticipate in structured walk-throughs and other activities to review systems, and provide training and supportPerform ongoing maintenance and review of applications systems and programsStudy feasibility of proposed software applications or system modifications by identifying potential requirements and system restrictions to guide project developmentMinimum QualificationsRequirements include an associate degree in computer science or management information systems from an accredited college or university; a vocational or technical education course resulting in certification in computer applications equivalent to an associate degree; two years of computer applications experience; or a combination of education and experience equivalent to two years.Preference Will Be Given To Candidates Who Possess.NET web application services development experience. Specifically candidates that have experience working with.Net Core and/or .Net Framework 3+Content migration like migrating XML/DITA, HTML, digital assets content from different sourcesPrevious experience working in an Agile environment participating and/or leading scrum meetingsUnderstanding of full stack development architecture, application development and deployment cycles
