Account Services Supervisor
Manufacturing company located in Central Islip, NY, is seeking an Account Services Supervisor. The Account Services Supervisor’s responsibility is to assist the AS Manager with the department’s daily operations. Assist with managing Quote-to-Order process, team workload, supports order management activities, and collaborates with Sales and internal departments to provide exceptional customer service. The Account Services Supervisor is responsible for monitoring performance, and ensure the teams efficiency in processing customer quotes.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Quote-to-Order Process
Supervise the daily Quote-to-Order process to ensure timely and accurate processing of customer requests.
Assign and balance workload among Account Services Representatives to meet departmental service goals.
Review quotes and orders for accuracy and completeness prior to processing.
Ensure adherence to established sales support procedures and company policies.
Identify workflow inefficiencies and recommend process improvements.
Team Collaboration
Supervise the daily activities of the Account Services Team.
Conduct regular team meetings and facilitate communication between field sales representatives and the Account Services Team.
Partner with Sales, Production, Purchasing, Logistics, Finance, and Quality to resolve customer issues and ensure order accuracy.
Serve as a resource for team members by providing guidance and support on customer and order-related matters.
Order Management
Monitor and maintain customer Opportunities, Quotes, Sales Orders, Backlog, and In-Preparation Orders.
Track open orders and proactively follow up to ensure timely fulfillment.
Resolve order discrepancies by coordinating with internal departments.
Maintain accurate customer and order information within the ERP and CRM systems.
Monitor departmental metrics including quote turnaround time, order accuracy, backlog status, and customer response times.
Employee Performance
Supervise, coach, and develop Account Services employees.
Conduct onboarding and ongoing training to ensure employees understand company processes and customer service expectations.
Monitor employee productivity, attendance, and quality of work.
Conduct performance evaluations and provide regular coaching and feedback.
Address performance issues through corrective action, coaching, and performance improvement plans when necessary.
Foster a collaborative, customer-focused, and accountable work environment.
Qualifications
Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or a related field preferred; equivalent experience will be considered.
Minimum of 3 years of experience in customer service, account services, inside sales, or order management within a manufacturing or distribution environment.
Previous supervisory or team lead experience preferred.
Experience with ERP and CRM systems.
Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel.

Pay: $56,864.27 - $85,000.00 per year
