Job Title: Construction Project Engineer 5 Location: Charlotte , NC Salary Range: $95/hr to $100/hr on W2IntroductionWe are seeking a skilled Construction Project Engineer to join our team in Charlotte, NC. This role is crucial for ensuring the quality and efficiency of our construction projects.Required Skills & QualificationsAbility to make sketches, engineering drawings, and common computations.Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, schematics, and computer-generated reports.Previous experience with computer applications and software related to engineering field, such as Computer Aided Design (CAD).Bachelor's degree in engineering required.10 years experience required.Prior work experience at client or in client's industry.Applicants must be able to work directly for Artech on W2.Preferred Skills & QualificationsExperience with Bluebeam and P6 software.Familiarity with QA/QC processes in construction.Experience in planning work assignments and evaluating worker performance.Day-to-Day ResponsibilitiesStudy time, motion, methods, and speed involved in maintenance, production, and other operations to establish standard production rate and improve efficiency.Interpret engineering drawings, schematic diagrams, or formulas and confer with management or engineering staff to determine quality and reliability standards.Read worker logs, product processing sheets, and specification sheets to verify that records adhere to quality assurance specifications.Aid in planning work assignments in accordance with worker performance, machine capacity, production schedules, and anticipated delays.Prepare charts, graphs, and diagrams to illustrate workflow, routing, floor layouts, material handling, and machine utilization.Observe workers using equipment to verify that equipment is being operated and maintained according to quality assurance standards.Evaluate data and write reports to validate or indicate deviations from existing standards.Company Benefits & CultureComprehensive health and dental insurance.401(k) with company match.Opportunities for professional development and growth.For immediate consideration please click APPLY to begin the screening process with Alex.
