The selected candidate will lead material trials, new model color launches, paint process improvements, and cross-functional projects related to paint production operations.*Key Responsibilities*
* Lead planning, evaluation, and implementation of new paint materials and color launches.
* Manage paint material trials and production-scale implementation activities.
* Support transition of materials from laboratory development into mass production.
* Conduct paint application evaluations, testing, and process validation.
* Establish process controls and operating parameters for new materials and technologies.
* Drive problem-solving activities related to paint materials and manufacturing processes.
* Coordinate with multiple teams to ensure successful project execution and production readiness.
*Required Qualifications*
* Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or related field.
* 3+ years of project management experience in a manufacturing environment.
* Hands-on experience in automotive paint shop operations or automotive manufacturing.
* Strong understanding of paint application processes, especially topcoat systems.
* Experience with production launches, scale-up activities, or change management.
* 2+ years of color and appearance evaluation experience.
* 1+ year of paint design experience.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
*Preferred Qualifications*
* Degree in Chemical Engineering, Materials Engineering, Material Science, or Chemistry.
* Automotive paint production engineering experience.
* Paint application evaluation experience.
* Paint laboratory workability evaluation experience.
