Compensation: $115,000 to $135,000 per year plus bonus

This is a General Manager role designed for someone who wants to lead with intention, own the business, and build a team that delivers results and takes pride in how they get there.
The General Manager is responsible for the overall operation of the hotel including Rooms, Food and Beverage, Administrative, Sales, Marketing, and Maintenance divisions. More importantly, this leader sets the tone for the entire hotel, creating an environment where guests feel taken care of and associates feel motivated, supported, and challenged to grow.
At First Hospitality, we look to our General Managers to think beyond the day-to-day. You will have the autonomy to lead your hotel while partnering closely with a strong corporate team to drive performance, elevate the guest experience, and continuously improve results.

What you’ll be doing…
Proactively address guest concerns by ensuring thoughtful, accessible, and consistent service delivery
Drive revenue through partnership with sales and revenue management while maintaining strong cost controls
Lead hiring, training, and development efforts to build a high‑performing and engaged team
Create a culture that values accountability, recognition, and collaboration
Maintain a strong presence in the hotel, leading by example and staying connected to both guests and associates
Ensure all departments are aligned, supported, and set up for success
Respond to challenges with professionalism, urgency, and sound judgment
Uphold brand standards while bringing your own leadership style to life
Experience & Education:
5+ years of hotel leadership experience, ideally within a branded environment
Experience working closely with sales and revenue management teams
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required
Valid driver’s license
Communication:
Strong communicator with the ability to build relationships and influence across all levels
Approach challenges with a solution‑oriented mindset
Comfortable balancing strategic priorities with operational execution
Physical:
Active, visible presence in the hotel with the ability to stand, walk, and move throughout the day
Ability to lift or move up to 30 pounds occasionally
