Ballet Dance Instructor

The P.A.C.E. Studio is looking to add a couple qualified individuals to our team. The P.A.C.E Studio provides dance instruction in numerous dance genres to both children and adults of all skill levels. The dance genres include ballet, tap, jazz, acrobatics, modern, contemporary, pointé, hip-hop, and musical theatre. * Instructor of beginner, intermediate, and advanced balletages 5+. A teacher's duties are to teach students ballet technique, while effectively monitoring and managing the class' progress and development of the course material. Job requirements: * Have a significant background in dance training (10+ years). * Have an understanding of injury awareness and prevention. * Be well versed in teaching Vaganova/Cecchetti ballet method(s). * Be able to control groups of students. * Have a good sense for quality/age-appropriate music. * Have a good sense for age-appropriate choreography. * Have a strong comprehension of health and safety for dancers. * Be patient and be able to problem solve and adapt when necessary. * Have excellent communication skills with children and adults. * Be able to motivate others. * Be physically able to teach class for the entire duration. * Have a dedication and passion for dance and children. This job position will always stay open.
