Job Title: Oracle HCM Cloud Technical ConsultantLocation: Newark, NJ (Hybrid)Duration: 6+ MonthsKey Responsibilities: Design, develop, and implement Oracle Visual Builder Cloud Service (VBCS) applicationsExtend Oracle Fusion Cloud (ERP/HCM) capabilities through custom UI applicationsWork in a low-code/no-code PaaS environment with enterprise-grade standardsKey ResponsibilitiesVBCS Development Design and develop responsive, user-friendly web and mobile applications using Oracle VBCSBuild and customize UI components, business objects, and service connectionsImplement reusable components, business rules, and validation logicOptimize applications for performance, usability, and scalabilityBuild custom UI extensions for Oracle SaaS applications (ERP/HCM) IntegrationDesign, develop, and deploy integrations using Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC)Develop and consume REST/SOAP APIs for system communicationConfigure orchestrations, transformations, and routing logic for complex integrationsHandle error management, logging, and monitoring of integrationsIntegrate VBCS applications with Oracle Cloud modules and third-party systems CollaborationWork closely with project managers and business analysts to gather and understand requirementsTranslate business requirements into technical designs and process flowsParticipate in code reviews and contribute to improvement initiativesCollaborate with middleware, backend, and functional teamsWork with Internal IT Teams, SMEs, and end usersTesting & Deployment Perform unit and system testing to ensure applications function as expectedTroubleshoot and debug applications to optimize performanceDeploy applications across test, UAT, and production environmentsRequired Skills & QualificationsTechnical Hands-on experience with Oracle Visual Builder Cloud Service (VBCS)Strong proficiency in JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3Experience with REST APIs and JSON data structuresKnowledge of Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC)Familiarity with Oracle Fusion Cloud ERP/HCM modulesExperience with SOAP/REST API integration patternsSoft Skills Strong problem-solving and analytical skillsExcellent communication and cross-functional collaboration abilitiesAbility to thrive in fast-paced, dynamic environments with multiple concurrent projectsNice-to-Have / Senior-Level Skills PL/SQL, OTBI, BI Publisher, Oracle APEXOracle Process Cloud Service (PCS) / Oracle Policy Automation (OPA)Oracle ADF exposureExperience with Oracle Autonomous DatabaseExperience leading cloud migration projects
