Summary: Position is responsible in providing customers with outstanding customer service, assisting other staff, cleaning and sanitizing the department and operating the bakery scale and industrial mixer as well as properly filling and rotating product.ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONSBakery Clerk activities:Assists customersStocks and rotates productInspect bakery products for freshnessFaces merchandise in the departmentCuts open boxes with a box cutterOther activities:Takes ordersBuilds displaysCleans/sanitizes department, back room and cooler/freezerReceives delivers and arranges stock in cooler/freezerPrepares and packages productMinimum Requirements: A positive customer service attitude & pleasant personality, effective memory skills, good hand eye coordination, dependability, ability to follow directions & a strong willingness to learn.Work environment: Normal exposure to weather and temperature extremes.
