Role, Function & OrganizationUnder the direction of the HR Manager, partner with the HR team and management to assist in the development, implementation and administration of all phases of Human Resources including but not limited to: strategic human resources, employment & recruiting; compensation & benefits; training & development: employee/labor relations, and human resource information systems. Manage total rewards activities that drive performance, attract and retain the best talent, and fit with business objectivesParticipate in the coordination and support of the health and wellness events throughout the yearEmployment & RecruitingConsult supervisors on workforce planning issues as requested to fill company needsIn coordination with the recruiting team, fulfill the recruiting strategy as it relates to the recruiting process through the talent management systemMaintain compliance through documentation of the recruiting process, and work as a team to maintain applicant files, employee files, medical files, etc. in accordance with record-keeping regulationsAttend Career Fairs each year for the recruiting of interns and Management TraineesStrategic HR Planning & HR Business PartnerCollaborate with HR Manager to develop PPC, PEI, and branch one and three year plans, and fulfilling the respective objectivesRollout and monitor participation and results in the engagement survey processes. Assist in action planning with the business to help resolve outstanding issuesProvide strategic HR support to multiple operational branches; support short and long-term branch goals through consultation and project management/support.Provide strategic staffing support to multiple operational branches, assisting in talent assessment and planning; succession planning and various strategic issues facing branchesTraining & DevelopmentParticipate in the continuing education team, increasing class selection and elevating its value to the companyOversee the administrative pieces of education such as scheduling courses, rooms, PMR’s, and the processing of education hours.Identify and teach class curricula within your special nichePerformance ManagementCollaborate with HR Manager in managing and monitoring the performance review and development plan processesConduct training and provide support for supervisors and employees throughout process completionMake recommendations for change and improvement to review/plan processEmployee Relations:Respond promptly and thoroughly to employee and managerial requests for assistanceInvestigate, mitigate, and document resolutions of all complaintsAssist with monitoring compliance with state and federal employment laws such as ADEA, ADA, FMLA, HIPAA, USERRA, etc. Utilize professional sources to provide additional guidance as needed.
