AI Process Optimization - Summer 2026 Internship

Overview The AI Process Optimization Intern will help business teams uncover opportunities to improve efficiency using modern AI tools, with a strong emphasis on accelerating and simplifying underwriting workflows. Over a 11-week program, the intern will build lightweight AI solutions, document repeatable methods, and support leaders in bringing automation into everyday operations.Increase your chances of an interview by reading the following overview of this role before making an application.Key Responsibilities Analyze underwriting and operational processes to identify where AI automation can create meaningful time savings. Build and test AI-driven workflows using Copilot and related platforms. Create clear documentation, playbooks, and guidelines that help teams adopt and scale new AI capabilities. Work closely with underwriters and business partners to understand challenges and design targeted improvements. Stay current on emerging AI tools and assess their potential value for underwriting and other functional areas. Deliver concise updates, demos, and recommendations to leaders and cross functional groups. Contribute to additional AI or process-improvement initiatives as assigned. Qualifications Required Rising Senior (graduating December 2026 or May 2027) actively pursuing bachelor’s degree in related field Bachelor’s degree candidate, Computer skills on MS Office (e.g. excel, power point) Clear and concise written communication Minimal grammatical / spelling errors in written communication Professional demeanor with clients and teammates Demonstrates integrity and respect The expected compensation for this role is $25/hour.
