This full-time opportunity is ideal for a licensed radiologic technologist who is passionate about delivering high-quality patient care in an outpatient setting. In this role, you will perform general radiography, DEXA, and C-arm procedures in the OR, while supporting efficient patient flow and maintaining the highest standards of safety, imaging quality, and compliance. New graduates are welcome to apply.Position Details:Department: RadiologyLocation: Syracuse, NYSchedule: Full-time, Monday-Friday, 8:30 AM-5:00 PMCompensation: $29.80 - $43.93 per hour ($61,984-$91,374)Key Responsibilities:Radiologic Imaging & Patient Care:Accurately review and interpret physician orders under the supervision of department leadership and staffPrepare patients for radiologic procedures by positioning patients correctly and using immobilization devices as neededOperate radiology equipment and adjust exposure settings to obtain high-quality diagnostic imagesPerform imaging procedures in General Radiography, DEXA, and assist with C-arm imaging in the ORReview images for technical quality and diagnostic completeness before submissionRadiation Safety & Compliance:Follow ALARA principles to minimize radiation exposure for patients and staff through proper collimation, shielding, and exposure techniquesMaintain knowledge of sterile technique when working with the C-arm in the operating roomAdhere to all applicable internal policies, state regulations, and accreditation standardsSystems, Equipment & Department Support:Demonstrate working knowledge of PACS, RIS, and EMS systemsMonitor radiology equipment for proper performance and functionalityPerform quality assurance checks and coordinate repairs or maintenance according to manufacturer guidelinesClean and restock assigned work areas to ensure readiness and efficiencyCollaborate with coworkers and support the broader radiology team as neededPerform additional related duties as assignedRequired Qualifications:Associate's Degree in Medical RadiographyCurrent ARRT certification and registrationActive licensure as requiredAdditional certification may be required depending on specialty areaCurrent BLS certification through the American Heart Association or the American Red CrossPreferred Qualifications:New Rad Tech graduates are welcome to apply.Prefer at least one to two years radiologic technologist experience.Experience in an outpatient radiology setting is a plusFamiliarity with OR imaging and C-arm procedures preferredWhy This Opportunity Stands Out:This is an excellent opportunity to grow your radiology career in a dynamic outpatient environment where your technical expertise and patient-centered approach will make a direct impact every day.
