Therapist (IOP – MH/SUD Program)

Join our compassionate team providing integrated mental health and substance use disorder (MH/SUD) treatment in a supportive Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) setting. This position offers high-quality supervision, professional growth, and hands-on experience with LOCUS and ASAM documentation. Supervision Provided Toward Licensure Duties Facilitate 4 therapy groups daily (CBT, DBT skills, MI, relapse prevention, psychoeducation). Provide individual therapy and complete biopsychosocial (BPS) assessments. Document LOCUS/ASAM justifications, treatment plans, progress notes, and discharge summaries in KIPU within 24 hours. Participate in case conferences, treatment team meetings, and utilization reviews. Support safety planning, crisis response, and integrated coordination with psychiatry and case management. Requirements Registered AMFT, ASW, or APCC (California BBS, active and in good standing). Experience in IOP/PHP or outpatient behavioral health. Familiar with DSM-5-TR, co-occurring disorders, LOCUS/ASAM Criteria, and evidence-based practices (CBT, DBT, MI). Strong documentation skills; EHR experience (KIPU preferred). Preferred Bilingual (Spanish/English). Familiarity with Medi-Cal, ASAM/LOCUS level of care reviews, and trauma-informed care (e.g., Seeking Safety, ACT, EMDR).
