Job Title: Design and Sales Consultant (Outside Sales) Company: Inspired Closets Tacoma Location: Tacoma, WA (On-site showroom and client homes) Job Type: Full-Time Commission Sales Compensation: Paid Training Earning potential up to $150,000+ once fully transitioned to commission-based outside sales Commission-based pay (no cap) Incentives for self-generated business Benefits: Health, dental, and vision insurance (after waiting period) Employer IRA contribution match program (after qualifying period) Company-provided sales leads Paid training Schedule: Flexible Full Time Schedule Some evening and weekend availability required Summary: Inspired Closets Tacoma is currently seeking an experienced self-motivated Design and Sales Consultant who is passionate about delivering exceptional customer service. The ideal candidate would have a talent for design as well as creative thinking. As a Design Consultant, you will engage in in-home direct sales consultations, as well as present to builders, interior designers, and architects. In this role, you will have the opportunity to showcase your design expertise and deliver an exceptional customer experience throughout the entire customer journey. Work Location: On the road, from home and showroom Key Responsibilities: Meet clients in person for design consultations in clients home and showroom A team player with strong project management skills capable of overseeing a portfolio of varying complexity projects in a fast-paced environment Reliable transportation and the ability to travel to client locations as needed Ability to work autonomously to meet deadlines and sales goals Develop and present design proposals that meet client requirements and budget Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices to continually improve our services and offerings Pursue referrals and repeat business Attendance at monthly sales meetings required Qualifications: Sales and in home selling experience required Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Attention to detail and spatial awareness Comfortable with basic technology and software Ability to work independently and collaboratively Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation Availability for a consistent full-time schedule, including occasional evenings/weekends Experience: Design: 1 year (Required) Closet Design: 1 year (Preferred) Sales: 3 years (Required) About Us: Inspired Closets Tacoma is a locally owned and operated company specializing in custom closets, garages, pantries, and more.
