Category Manager – ElectronicsEngineering + Electronics Sourcing | PCBAs | Semiconductors | Cost StrategyRelocation package provided / US Citizenship required (All Candidates Must be Bilingual English/Spanish is Required)If you understand electronic components at a technical level and enjoy influencing supplier strategy, cost structure, and component selection, this role sits right at that intersection.We’re looking for a technically strong Category Manager – Electronics to support sourcing and supplier management across:PCBAs (Printed Circuit Board Assemblies)SemiconductorsPassive components (resistors, capacitors, inductors)Electromechanical componentsThis is not a transactional buyer role. You’ll partner directly with Engineering and Operations to influence component strategy, supplier selection, and cost optimization across a complex electronics portfolio.What You’ll DoExecute sourcing strategies for electronics categoriesAnalyze supplier quotations and cost breakdownsSupport pricing and commercial negotiationsPartner with Engineering on component selection and lifecycle managementMonitor supplier performance (delivery, quality, responsiveness)Support NPI supplier qualificationIdentify cost reduction opportunitiesMitigate supply risk and continuity issuesWhat You NeedBS in Electrical, Electronics, Mechanical, or Industrial Engineering (Must Have)3–7 years in electronics procurement, supplier engineering, electronics manufacturing, or category managementWorking knowledge of PCB assemblies and electronic componentsExperience analyzing cost structures and supplier quotationsStrong cross-functional communication skillsHighly ValuedExperience with contract manufacturersGlobal supply chain exposureIndustrial or electronics manufacturing backgroundNPI support experienceIf you're an engineer who understands components and wants to influence sourcing strategy, not just place orders, let’s connect.
