Working as a Warehouse Team Member is the perfect way to gain valuable customer service, forklift operation, decision-making, and problem-solving skills.We Are Currently Looking For aSplish Splash Warehouse Team MemberRoles & ResponsibilitiesEnsure availability of products while maintaining a clean work areaPerform all warehouse duties while following all established safety procedures and using the appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)Maintain compliance with company and industry best practices, policies, and procedures to create a safe environment for colleagues and guestsUnload trucks and counts quantities to verify delivered amountsProcess, receive, rotate and correctly store retail, paper products, food, and food product items within the warehouse (which includes dry storage, frozen and refrigerated areas)Deliver orders from the warehouse to the individual retail stands, concessions, catering areas, and other facilities (by pick-up truck/golf cart, van, hand cart and/or by hand)Complete orders and responsibilities in a quick and responsive mannerMonitor stock levels of the warehouse and communicate any shortages in orders and inventory to the management teamPerform inventory controls and keep quality standards high for auditsConduct product inventories on a routine basisComplete and update daily inventory logsMonitor product quality and communicate shrinkage/waste to the lead and/or supervisorMaintain proper organization and cleanliness of the warehouse and warehouse equipmentAll other duties assigned by leadershipPay Rate: $20 / hr.Education And ExperienceHigh School Diploma, GED, or equivalent preferred1+ years previous warehouse experience a plus but not requiredMust become Food Handler Safety Certified (ServSafe or similar) or become so within 90 days of hire, when required by state and local guidelines.LanguageAbility to read, write, and speak fluent EnglishSpanish or other bilingual language skills are a plus.RequirementsMust be at least 18 years of age to comply with NY Child Labor LawsAbility to work flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidaysAbility to work until later hours of the evening, from open to closeMust have reliable transportation to and from your scheduled shiftMust possess a valid driver’s license and a good driving recordAbility to safely and efficiently operate motorized vehicles and equipmentAbility to comply with all uniform policiesMust possess exceptional customer service skills, with an ability to resolve questions, problems, issues, and concerns in a positive and professional mannerAbility to follow direction, multi-task, and work as part of a team as well as independentlyPhysical RequirementsAbility to stand, walk, and remain on feet for majority of the workdayAbility to frequently stoop, twist, kneel, bend, squat, or reach above shouldersAbility to work in enclosed spaces and refrigerated areasAbility to withstand heat and humidity in the various food stands and restaurantsAbility to use a step ladder in a safe and proper mannerAbility to carry, push, pull, lift, and hold objects weighing 50 pounds or moreAbility to consistently use hands to grasp, control, move objects/toolsAbility to see details of objects that are more than a few feet awayWorking ConditionsFrequent interaction with many indoor and outdoor areas of the parkFrequent exposure to the variable outside temperatures, including high heat, cold, direct sun, humidity, dust, rain and other weather conditionsSubject to refrigerated temperatures on a regular basisSubject to frequent repetitive motion and lifting of heavy objectsSome exposure to dust and chemical cleaning agentsSubject to frequent interruptions and requests that may require reprioritization of activities Team Member BenefitsWorking at Splish Splash is about making people happy!
