You'll play a key role in requirements definition, risk management, and verification & validation (V&V) for IVD (in vitro diagnostic) projects. This position requires a strong engineering background and the ability to drive technical excellence while collaborating across diverse teams.Key ResponsibilitiesDefine system requirements, design architectures, and implement solutions aligned with IVD standards.Lead and document risk management activities (FMEA) throughout the development lifecycle.Drive systems engineering best practices including requirements engineering, tradeoff analysis, configuration management, and V&V.Collaborate cross-functionally with R&D, quality, and regulatory teams to ensure compliance and alignment of system design.Take ownership of project deliverables, ensuring timely execution and balanced decision-making.Required Skills & Experience3–5 years of experience as a Systems Engineer or in a similar role within a regulated industry (medical device preferred).Proven experience writing and managing engineering requirements in a regulated environment.Hands‐on experience performing risk analyses (FMEA).Solid understanding of systems engineering principles including V&V, configuration management, and tradeoff analysis.Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with multiple stakeholders.Preferred QualificationsExperience in assay development , especially with cytology specimens .Familiarity with RETINA (Requirements & Test Integration Application) and LucidSpark/LucidChart .Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities efficiently.EducationBachelor's degree in Engineering or a related discipline required.Seniority LevelAssociateEmployment TypeContractJob FunctionEngineering, Quality Assurance, and ResearchIndustriesPharmaceutical Manufacturing, Biotechnology Research, and Medical Equipment ManufacturingReferrals increase your chances of interviewing at Pharmaceutical Company by 2xWe're unlocking community knowledge in a new way.
