If you're looking for variety, craftsmanship, and a place where your expertise directly impacts aerospace-level projects, Hartman is where you belong.Responsibilities:Set up CNC mills, lathes, and mill-turn machines (tooling, offsets, calibration, program loading).Run production jobs, check quality, and adjust for accuracy.Move quickly to the next setup, keeping machines productive.Read and interpret blueprints, CAD models, and GD&T specs.Perform first article inspections and hold tight aerospace tolerances.Troubleshoot programs, tooling, and equipment.Work with engineering and production teams to improve efficiency.Requirements:5+ years CNC machining experience (2+ years CNC setup required).Strong G-code and M-code programming skills (Mazatrol a plus).Ability to read blueprints and apply GD&T.Aerospace/defense machining experience (AS9100, ITAR) preferred.Dependable, detail-oriented, and team-focused.Relocation to Oneida, NY required before start date.Benefits:Competitive pay with overtime.401(k) with company match.Medical, dental, and vision insurance.Health Savings Account (HSA).Paid Time Off and holidays.Training and professional development opportunities.Schedule:2nd shift Monday-Thursday 3:15 pm-1:45 amOvertime and occasional weekends as needed.Why join Hartman?New management with a vision for aerospace growth.Be part of a skilled, growing team in a precision job shop environment.Variety and challengeset up, run, and move on to new jobs daily.Your craftsmanship will make a direct impact on the aerospace and defense industries.
