Title: Finance Manager, Operational PerformanceBase salary target: $120K–$130K plus bonus & comprehensive benefits packageAbout the OpportunityA multi-site production and distribution organization is looking for a finance leader to support operational planning, performance analysis, and plant-level financial management. This role partners directly with operations stakeholders to improve visibility into business performance, strengthen forecasting accuracy, and support long-term operational efficiency initiatives.This position is highly collaborative and suited for someone comfortable operating in a fast-paced environment where financial insight directly influences operational decision-making.Core Areas of ResponsibilityLead financial planning activities related to operational and production functionsDevelop reporting packages that provide visibility into business performance metrics and operational trendsSupport strategic initiatives through financial modeling and business case analysisAnalyze operating results and identify drivers impacting cost, productivity, and profitabilityPartner with leadership teams on forecasting, spending controls, and resource planningImprove existing reporting workflows and implement scalable analytical processesMonitor operational financial performance and communicate risks and opportunities to leadershipParticipate in capital planning and investment evaluation activitiesEnsure alignment with financial controls, reporting standards, and internal governance practicesMentor junior finance staff and coordinate deliverables across multiple business partnersAssist with process improvement and margin enhancement initiatives across the organizationContribute to special projects and enterprise-wide finance initiatives as neededPreferred BackgroundDegree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or related disciplineAdvanced degree or professional certification preferred but not requiredSeveral years of experience supporting operations, supply chain, manufacturing, or industrial finance functionsStrong analytical mindset with experience interpreting operational and financial dataAdvanced spreadsheet and reporting tool proficiencyExperience working cross-functionally with operational leadership teamsAbility to manage competing priorities and communicate effectively with multiple stakeholdersAdditional InformationHybrid or onsite schedule depending on business needsOccasional travel may be requiredFull benefits package available, including healthcare, retirement programs, paid time off, and employee-focused wellness offerings
