ERP & Business Operations Manager
Water Inc. is a well-established water filtration distributor and manufacturer with a 47-year track record and a growing product line. We're modernizing how we operate and looking for someone to help lead that effort from the inside. This role sits at the center of how the business runs. You'll own our ERP system, Prophet21, drive process improvement across order management, inventory, and purchasing, and help us build the operational infrastructure we need to grow. If you're the kind of person who looks at a broken workflow and can't help but fix it, this is your role. What you'll own:Day-to-day ERP operations including order flow, inventory management, pricing, purchasing, and reporting. You'll be the internal expert on how P21 works and how it should work, and you'll be the person who closes the gap between those two things. You'll also help us evaluate how modern tools, including AI, can make our systems smarter and our team more effective. On the financial side, you don't need to be a CPA, but you need to understand how the numbers flow. Bank reconciliation, inventory adjustments, vendor payments, and month-end support are part of the scope. A fractional controller handles the oversight; you make sure the data they're looking at is clean and accurate. What we're looking for:Someone with 5 to 10 years of experience who has genuinely owned an ERP system at a distribution, wholesale, or product-based company. P21 experience is a real advantage. NetSuite, SAP, or a comparable distribution ERP is the minimum bar. You've built SOPs, improved processes, and pushed people to use systems the right way. You're comfortable in a small company where your work is visible and your ideas actually get heard. We're also looking for someone who thinks about where business is going, not just where it's been. E-commerce, AI-assisted workflows, and modern integrations are part of our roadmap. We want someone who's excited about that, not intimidated by it.What this is not:A data entry role. A report-running role. A role for someone who wants to be told what to do and maintain what exists. We need someone who's going to come in, learn the business, and start making it better.Compensation & DetailsCompetitive depending on experience; Health, dental, and vision 401k with company match. Full-time, on-site, Carson CA. Immediate start preferredTo apply, tell us briefly about an ERP system you've owned and one thing you changed about how it was being used.No recruiters please.
