*Job Overview* We are seeking a friendly and professional Host/Host to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced restaurant environment. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for our guests, providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a welcoming atmosphere. This role requires excellent communication skills and a passion for hospitality, as you will be responsible for managing reservations, greeting guests, and coordinating seating arrangements. *Duties* * Greet guests warmly upon arrival and escort them to their tables. * Manage the reservation system and ensure efficient seating arrangements to optimize guest flow. * Answer phone calls with professionalism, handling reservations and inquiries with excellent phone etiquette. * Provide information about the menu, specials, and restaurant policies to guests. * Assist in maintaining cleanliness and organization of the front-of-house area. * Collaborate with servers and kitchen staff to ensure seamless service for guests. * Handle guest complaints or concerns promptly and effectively, ensuring a positive dining experience. * Support other restaurant staff as needed during busy periods, demonstrating teamwork and flexibility. *Qualifications* * Previous experience in customer service or hospitality is preferred, particularly in a restaurant or hotel setting. * Strong communication skills with the ability to engage with guests positively. * Familiarity with food service operations is advantageous. * Experience using Aloha POS or similar point-of-sale systems is a plus but not required. * Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. * A friendly demeanor with a genuine desire to help guests feel welcome and valued. * Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends as needed.
