Broadcast & Media Relations Associate

Job Title: Broadcast & Media Relations AssociateThe Broadcast & Media Relations Associate will serve as the primary on-air voice of the Long Beach Coast and a key contributor to the club's broadcast and content efforts.This role is responsible for leading all live game broadcasts while supporting media relations, content creation, and game day communications in collaboration with other members of the front office. This is an excellent opportunity for recent graduates or early-career professionals looking to launch a career in sports broadcasting.What You'll Do:Broadcasting & Production (Primary Focus)Serve as the lead play-by-play voice for all home gamesContribute to live broadcasts (pre/postgame, interviews, features)Act as liaison with Home Team Network on broadcast executionCoordinate with remote production crew and camera operators before each broadcastSupport setup, execution, and breakdown of broadcasts as neededMonitor broadcast quality and troubleshoot issues as neededContent & StorytellingDevelop broadcast-driven storytelling around players and team storylinesConduct interviews with players, coaches, and staffContribute video/audio content for digital and social platformsCollaborate with marketing and social teams on content integrationAssist in shaping the voice and tone of the Long Beach CoastSupport real-time content needs during gamesMedia Relations SupportAssist with game day media operations and press box setupSupport credentialing and media requests as assignedContribute to game notes, stat packs, and postgame recapsAssist with statistical tracking and information gatheringSupport club leadership on communications effortsEnsure accuracy in all assigned materialsWhat You Bring:Strong writing and communication skillsStrong knowledge of baseball, including stats and game flowComfortable in on-air and live production environmentsExperience with live streaming platforms or production tools (HTN, OBS, etc.)Experience with game notes and recapsExperience in sports broadcasting or play-by-play preferredAvailable May-September (nights/weekends)Compensation:Hourly Rate: $16.90Location: Long Beach, CAAbout Innovation Baseball Partners:Innovation Baseball Partners (IBP) is an ownership group and operating company focused on building a portfolio of independent minor league baseball teams.
