Job TitleThis staff position will work under the Chance's Manager to brew coffee, bake muffins & pies, greet, clean, and perform any other duties needed to create an effective environment with quality product.Reports ToChance's ManagerFLSA StatusNon-exemptCampusMockingbirdWorking HoursThis is an hourly position. Each paid crewmember must work at least 3 shifts per week, totaling 7-10 hours per week. Work a 3-hour shift on Sundays. Work at least one 3 hour shift during the week. Work at least one evening or weekend 1-3 hour shift a week.Anticipated ScheduleCrew members will be scheduled per event (i.e., Staff Meetings, Sunday coffee at Mockingbird & Tolleson, SMU football games, small groups, Dessert Theater, etc.)Job Responsibilities and DutiesOnboarding:Crew Members must participate in an Initial Assessment of Hospitality, Food Handling and Customer Service skillsCrew Members must either complete Chance's Operations Training or demonstrate mastery of skills during their Assessment.If necessary, Crew Members may need to participate in our Chances Operations Training to improve certain skills in certain areas. There is no cost for Operations Training; but there is no compensation during Operations Training.
