First Grade Teacher

Prescott Memorial School is seeking a highly qualified and dedicated First Grade teacher to join our team of educators in a small school community. The candidate should be able to plan, organize and implement an appropriate instructional program that fosters a love of learning while guiding and encouraging students to develop their academic potential in an engaging classroom environment. The ideal candidate should have expertise in the Science of Reading and early math instruction as well as the ability to effectively utilize data to inform instruction, differentiate learning experiences, and ensure all students are making progress toward academic goals. We are looking for an individual with a growth mindset willing to work collaboratively with colleagues and families. Experience in using the Understanding by Design curriculum framework is preferred but not required.
