We offer:A great place to work with a friendly team of employeesCompetitive pay with the opportunity to work overtimeA benefits package that includes company medical contribution towards the Health Savings AccountDental & Vision insuranceLife insurance as well as short- & long-term disabilityAll full-time employees are eligible the first of month following 30 days of employmentA 401(k) Retirement Savings Plan with matchJob Location: 3363 S Halstead Rd, Halstead, KS 67056A Truss Assembler is a critical component of the process of manufacturing our truss products.Place connector plate at each truss joint by hammering in placeFit parts together in accordance with the prescribed manner and in accordance with quality standardsUse a mechanical roller to embed the connector plate to the trussSend the truss through the finished pressMove each assembled truss to the yard for delivery preparationStack completed products in accordance with established procedures, and if required, may cover label and band components to finish the productOperate hand tools, saws, presses, and pneumatic staple and nail guns as required to complete the assembly processInspect materials and finished products to ensure compliance with standardsWork with various building materials, including wood and metalAssist in work area setup and cleanupOther duties as assignedQualificationsQualifications:Understands proper saw standardsSelf-directed, requiring little supervisionReliable adherence to attendance with set scheduleCommunicate both written and verballyBasic MathAble to accurately read a tape measureAble to follow directionsMust be 18 years of age or olderMust be able to successfully pass pre-employment screens to company satisfactionPhysical Demands:The physical demands described below are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
