PRODUCER, NYC - ONLY CHILD FULL TIME | REMOTE We’re looking for a brilliant Producer to join our growing team at Only Child — a transatlantic production company, creative and ideas studio crafting work that blends cinematic storytelling with cultural relevance. Based in New York, this role is ideal for someone who thrives in a creative, fast-moving environment and brings a sharp eye for detail, big-picture thinking, and a passion for working with directors, creators, and brands alike, while also being on the pulse of what’s next in the ever evolving world of content.As a Senior Producer, you’ll lead high-level productions across commercial, branded, and digital content — managing bidding & budgets of $200K and up — while also playing a key role in shaping new business. You’ll work closely with our directors and Executive Producers in both the US + UK to bring bold ideas to life, from pitch to final delivery. We’re looking for a self-starter, someone who can oversee every step of production, champion our company culture, expand our network and business, and help us raise the bar with every project as a growing transatlantic company.Key ResponsibilitiesProduction LeadershipOversee all phases of production from development through to deliveryLead projects across TV, social, and digital platforms, managing budgets of £150K+Act as the key point of contact on set and throughout post-production for clients, ensuring smooth operations and clear communicationCollaborate with directors, talent, and creatives to shape standout work that bridges storytelling with brand goalsConfidently lead pre-production and post-production meetings, identifying risks and solutions before they become problemsProduction Documentation & ComplianceOversee all essential production documentation, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely delivery:Call sheetsInsurance needsCrew and talent contractsProduction declaration formsPermits and location agreementsKit hire and bookingsSecure and organize shoot locations, permits, and compliance requirementsBook and coordinate crew, ensuring roles are appropriately filled and supportedOn-Set & Post-Production SupportAct as the lead production contact during shoots, supporting the Executive Producer and ensuring production runs smoothlyTroubleshoot and assist in resolving any on-set challenges with professionalism and speedManage delivery timelines and support in-house or external post-production teams to ensure seamless handoversNew Business & Creative StrategySupport the Executive Producers in responding to briefs and building client relationshipsHelp shape pitches, treatments, and budgets that win new work and push creative boundariesStay on top of social trends, creators, and influencer culture to help craft relevant, forward-thinking contentBring in new direct to brand or agency business - with commission reward Your VibeA proactive self-starter who doesn’t wait for instruction - resourceful & resilientCalm under pressure, with a solution-driven mindsetPassionate and curious about all aspects of the business, especially the space where content and brand intersectComfortable in ambiguity, with strong judgement and clear communicationA fast thinker, strong communicator, and unshakable in high-pressure environmentsEntrepreneurial in mindset Experienced in managing creators, talent, and crew with empathy and clarityAgile, strategic, and goal-oriented - with a yes-can attitude and zero egoPassionate about storytelling and building culture-shifting contentDeeply invested in culture, global storytelling, and pushing the boundaries of traditional advertisingA confident leader and collaborator, with no ego - bringing good and positive vibes to every set. CompensationSalary Range: $75,000 – $90,000 annuallyFinal compensation will be based on experience, scope of responsibility, and role alignment.
