Role Description – Residential Mortgage Loan OriginatorThis is a full-time, hybrid role based in Great Neck, NY.As a Residential Mortgage Loan Originator, you will be responsible for originating and structuring residential loans, building and maintaining client relationships, and guiding borrowers through the mortgage process from initial consultation through closing.You will leverage a wide lender network to identify the best loan solutions, analyze borrower financials, and deliver a seamless, high-quality client experience.Built-in Commercial Opportunity:In addition to residential lending, you will have the ability to leverage our in-house commercial division to support any commercial financing opportunities that arise within your network. Our commercial team will assist in structuring and closing these transactions allowing you to expand your value to clients and participate in additional revenue opportunities without needing to be a commercial expert.Key ResponsibilitiesOriginate and close residential mortgage loans (purchase, refinance, cash-out, etc.) Develop and maintain relationships with clients, referral partners, and real estate professionals Analyze borrower financials and structure appropriate loan solutions Navigate clients through the full mortgage process from application to closing Deliver a high level of service and communication throughout each transaction Identify cross-sell opportunities, including introducing clients to commercial financing solutions when applicable  QualificationsProven experience in residential mortgage loan origination Strong understanding of underwriting guidelines and loan programs (Conventional, FHA, Jumbo, Non-QM, etc.) Ability to analyze financial documents and borrower profiles Excellent communication and relationship-building skills Self-motivated with the ability to work both independently and within a team environment Active mortgage license in applicable states Experience with Calyx Point preferredCompany DescriptionSilver Fin Capital Group LLC, founded in 2005 and headquartered in Great Neck, New York, is a licensed mortgage broker specializing in residential loans in Connecticut, Florida, New Jersey, New York, and Pennsylvania, as well as commercial loans nationwide.
