Blue Chip Talent, in partnership with a manufacturing organization, is seeking a skilled Payroll Specialist. This role is responsible for managing full-cycle payroll processing and ensuring accuracy across complex, shift-based employee data. The position also supports employee payroll inquiries and contributes to maintaining efficient payroll operations in a fast-paced environment.Job DutiesProcess bi-weekly payroll for both hourly and salaried employeesManage full-cycle payroll processing from data validation through final submissionHandle employee payroll inquiries via phone, email, and in-person supportProcess variable compensation elements including bonuses, sign-on incentives, and relocation packagesMaintain accuracy of payroll data impacted by shift schedules and changesCollaborate with HR and internal payroll team members to ensure seamless operationsGenerate and review payroll reports to ensure compliance and accuracySupport continuous improvement of payroll processes and workflowsRequired:3+ years of payroll experience within a manufacturing environmentDirect ownership of full-cycle payroll processingStrong proficiency with ADP payroll systemsExperience managing high-volume payroll data with frequent changesKnowledge of payroll reporting tools and systemsUnderstanding of payroll compliance and regulationsExperience processing variable compensation elements (bonuses, incentives, etc.)Desired:Experience in shift-based or multi-shift payroll environmentsExposure to SAP or similar ERP systemsExperience supporting payroll for large employee populationsFamiliarity with payroll audits and reconciliation processes
