Patient Services Representative (Contract)Location: Beverly Hills, CA 90211Pay Rate: $25 – $26 per hourPosition OverviewCedars-Sinai Medical Center is seeking a detail-oriented and patient-focused Patient Services Representative to serve as the primary point of contact for patients in a busy outpatient clinic setting. This role requires excellent communication skills, strong organizational abilities, and a commitment to delivering exceptional patient care.Key ResponsibilitiesServe as the primary point of contact for patient relations, both in person and over the phoneGreet patients and assist with resolving concerns, escalating issues when necessaryPerform patient check-in/check-out, collect co-payments, issue receipts, and reconcile paymentsVerify and update patient demographics and insurance information in CS-Link/EpicSchedule appointments and complete patient registrationProcess and track referrals and insurance authorizationsManage patient and provider correspondenceExplain policies, procedures, and services clearly to patientsMaintain a clean and sanitized workspace following department guidelinesRequired QualificationsHigh School Diploma or GEDExperience with medical insurance, referral processes, and benefit plansMinimum 1 year of recent experience in an outpatient clinic or medical officeAbility to read, understand, and respond to detailed written and verbal instructionsPreferred Qualifications2+ years of recent experience as a Patient Service RepresentativeExperience with CS-Link/Epic systemsKnowledge of medical terminology
