Landscape Crew Leader - Charlottesville, VA

Responsible for managing and overseeing all landscaping work on properties, including lawn & garden care and landscaping maintenance. Must be available to work Monday-Friday, 7:30 a.m. - 4:00 p.m. and overtime/weekends as needed.$20.00 - $25.00 per hour, based on skills/experience.Main Duties Supervise all lawn management service activities of crewEnsure all crew members know the property, including scope of work and overall plan for propertyTrain crew members and ensure they have tools needed to complete jobs efficientlyEnsure projects are completed on time and within budgetPerform all timekeeping activities for crewEnsure crew is performing all tasks safely, following strict Company and industry safety guidelines, including 100% PPE during work activitiesEnsure completion of daily activities, including gathering of supplies, cleaning of trucks, organization of trailersUse landscaping tools and operate heavy equipment as neededKeep all equipment in good condition: includes cleaning equipment, tagging equipment with issues, changing oil, blades, air filters as per maintenance scheduleCoordinate with management, customers, and other employees as neededPosition Type and Expected Hours of Work This is a full-time position; typical work hours and days are Monday through Friday, 7:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Overtime and weekend work as required, including on-call snow removal during and after snow events. Work is in Charlottesville, Virginia.
