We offer architects the opportunity to influence projects from concept to completion, collaborate across disciplines, and design communities that improve how people live, age, and connect every day.Position OverviewWe are seeking a Senior Architecture Manager to lead architectural strategy, design excellence, and delivery for our senior living projects. The role combines operational leadership and design oversight to ensure projects meet goals, regulatory requirements, and high standards of design and engineering integration. The ideal candidate will bring deep expertise in architecture, strong engineering collaboration skills, and experience delivering hospitality-focused environments.Key ResponsibilitiesProvide strategic leadership for architectural design and delivery across multiple projects, ensuring consistency with brand, client objectives, and quality standards.Coordinate closely with engineering, construction, and operations teams to integrate structural, MEP, and building systems into cohesive design solutions.Lead project planning and execution including scope definition, scheduling, budgeting, resource allocation, and risk management to ensure on-time, on-budget delivery.Oversee the development of conceptual designs, detailed construction documentation, and specifications, ensuring accuracy and constructability.Serve as primary client and stakeholder liaison for design discussions, presentations, and approvals, translating client needs into practical design strategies.Ensure compliance with local building codes, accessibility standards, and regulatory requirements, and manage permitting processes as needed.Drive innovation in materials, systems, and sustainable design practices, advocating for energy efficiency and longevity in design solutions.Manage relationships with consultants, contractors, and vendors, including procurement and review of proposals and deliverables.Champion design quality control through regular reviews, model coordination (BIM), and site visits to maintain fidelity from design through construction.QualificationsBachelors or Masters degree in Architecture5 years of progressive architectural experience, ideally in hospitality sectors.Proven track record delivering hospitality projects (hotels, resorts, restaurants, F&B, or related environments) from concept through completion.Demonstrated experience in project and budget management, with familiarity with procurement and contract administration.Excellent leadership, interpersonal, and client-facing communication skills, with the ability to present design concepts clearly to diverse stakeholders.Willingness to travel to project sites and client meetings as required.BenefitsVacation/PTOMedicalDentalVision401kBonusRelocation
