Java Developer Contract

Position: Java Developer W2 OnlyLocation: Malvern, PA (3 days onsite in a week)Mode : Hybrid Duration: 06+ monthsAs a Java Developer Contractor, you will support the development and maintenance of Java-based applications. Design, develop, and maintain Java applications, ensuring high performance and responsiveness. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications. Conduct unit testing and debugging to ensure the functionality and reliability of applications, and participate in code reviews to maintain code quality. Stay updated with the latest Java technologies and frameworks to recommend and implement improvements.Full Stack Developer, you’ll help enhance, build, and optimize foundational tools and applications that power cutting-edge Financial platforms and advice offerings. You’ll collaborate cross-functionally, tackle large-scale technical challenges, and deliver robust software solutions with global impact.• Design, develop, and maintain responsive, user-friendly front-end interfaces using Angular alongside robust, scalable back-end services using Java/J2EE.• Architect and implement secure cloud deployment leveraging AWS services (including ECS, ELB, etc.) and automate CI/CD workflows using GitHub Actions.• Enhance, build, and optimize foundational tools and software products that power cutting-edge Financial platforms and advice offerings.• Integrate and automate load, stress, and real-user scenario testing into the development and production lifecycle.• Analyse, monitor, and address performance, reliability, and scalability challenges in complex distributed systems.• Collaborate with engineers working on software and other relevant teams supporting our Advice Enablement and Financial Wellness Journey.• Apply advanced profiling, benchmarking, and system optimization techniques across the entire technology stack.• Contribute to solution architecture, secure API design, and system integrations.• Communicate regularly with Delivery managers, project team members, and representatives from various functional and / or technical teams, including escalating any matters that require additional attention and consideration from engagement management.• Independently and collaboratively lead client engagement workstreams focused on improvement, optimization, and transformation of processes including implementing leading practice workflows, addressing deficits in quality, and driving operational outcomes.
