Supervisory Human Resources Specialist As a Supervisory Human Resources Specialist, at the full performance level you will perform the following duties: Assign work, set priorities, evaluate performance, and provide mentoring and training. Address conduct or performance issues and recommend disciplinary actions as needed. Make decisions on hiring, promotions, reassignments, and training needs for the team. Approves leave requests of subordinate employees. Monitor program metrics, identify trends, and develop action plans to reduce workers compensation costs and lost time period prepare and present reports to agency leadership and external oversight bodies (e.g., Department Of Labor, Office Of Personnel Management). Draft, revise, and implement agency wide policy related to injury compensation, return to work initiatives, and safety integration. Serve as the key liaison with legal counsel, Labor Relations, and safety offices on high profile or disputed cases.
