Minimum Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent.
Previous experience working in a professional kitchen or food preparation environment.
Basic knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards.
Ability to follow recipes and instructions accurately.
Physical ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks.
Preferred Qualifications
Culinary school training or certification.
Experience with various cooking techniques and kitchen equipment.Knowledge of portion control and food cost management.
Ability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays.
Strong teamwork and communication skills.
Responsibilities
Prepare ingredients by washing, chopping, and measuring according to recipes and kitchen standards.
Cook menu items in cooperation with the rest of the kitchen staff to ensure timely and quality food delivery.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and prep areas, following all health and safety regulations.
Assist in inventory management by monitoring stock levels and reporting shortages or spoilage.
Collaborate with chefs and other kitchen staff to ensure smooth kitchen operations and effective communication.
