Family Law Attorney

Job DescriptionJob Title: Family Law AttorneyLocation: Lexington, KYExperience Level: 2+ YearsPosition OverviewWe are seeking an experienced and motivated Family Law Attorney to join our Lexington office. The ideal candidate will have at least two years of litigation experience and a strong background managing cases from investigation through resolution. This role provides the opportunity to handle a diverse caseload, work directly with clients, and gain significant courtroom experience in a collaborative environment.Key ResponsibilitiesRepresent clients in a wide range of family law matters, including divorce, custody, child support, abuse and neglect and adoption.Handle all aspects of litigation, including pleadings, discovery, motion practice, depositions, hearings, mediations, and trial preparation.Conduct legal research and draft memoranda, briefs, and other court filings.Develop case strategies and provide practical, solution-oriented advice to clients.Work collaboratively with colleagues and clients to achieve efficient and favorable results.QualificationsJuris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.Admission to the Kentucky Bar (or eligibility to waive in).Minimum of 2 years of family law experience.Strong advocacy, research, and writing skills.Ability to manage multiple matters independently while meeting deadlines.Commitment to client service, professionalism, and teamwork.Compensation & BenefitsSalary commensurate with experience.Comprehensive benefits package.How to ApplyInterested candidates should submit a resume to Meghan Young at meghan.young@gogpac.com or call 937-741-3847.
