Founding Customer Success LeadLocation: San Francisco (full-time, in-office) Compensation: $120K–$130K + equityAbout the CompanyWe're working with an early-stage AI startup building agents for enterprise sales teams. They're backed by a top-tier venture firm and founders from some of the most well-known consumer and enterprise technology companies. They're building fast, moving aggressively, and looking for people who want to be part of something defining.The RoleThis is a founding Customer Success Lead role, hired to build the Customer Success organization from scratch. It's a highly strategic, customer-facing position for someone who wants to operate at the center of product, customer relationships, onboarding, renewals, expansion, and enterprise growth.This person will work directly with leadership and become one of the earliest operators shaping how the company supports and grows enterprise customers.What You'll DoOwn customer relationships from onboarding through renewal and expansionSpeak with customers daily and become a trusted advisor to enterprise accountsDrive upsells, renewals, adoption, and long-term customer successPartner closely with product and engineering to shape the roadmap based on customer feedbackBuild systems, processes, and playbooks for Customer Success from the ground upRepresent the company in high-stakes conversations with large enterprise customersHelp define what world-class Customer Success looks like hereIdeal BackgroundOne of the first five Customer Success hires at a successful startupExperience supporting enterprise products and enterprise customers is required3+ years of Customer Success experience preferredStrong preference for startup experience over large corporate environmentsComfortable operating in ambiguity and building from zeroRefined, polished, and credible in front of senior executives and enterprise buyersStrong communication skills with high emotional intelligenceExtremely hardworking, responsive, and proactiveAmbitious and excited to help build a category-defining companyHas built business cases to upsell and retain customersThis Role Is For You IfYou want to help build a company from an early stageYou care deeply about customer relationships and product qualityYou move quickly and respond quicklyYou naturally build trust with peopleYou enjoy being in the office and working closely with a teamYou want meaningful ownership and responsibilityLocationThis is a full-time, in-office role based in San Francisco.
