Chief Financial Officer

The Chief Financial Officer (CFO) will lead the financial health, growth, and performance of TalentoHC , with primary responsibility for strategic planning, financial planning & analysis (FP&A), accounting, treasury, tax, legal, and procurement functions. We are proud "people geeks" who believe human capital should be viewed as a true asset on the balance sheet.Key Responsibilities Leadership & Business Performance Lead the financial health, growth, and performance of the business through structured annual, quarterly, monthly, and weekly planning and goal-setting processesOversee the development and maintenance of TalentoHC's operating and financial roadmapDevelop and maintain financial and operational dashboards to support performance managementStrategic Planning Partner proactively with leaders across all levels of the organization to deliver the company's strategic planLead development of the mid-term strategic financial plan and models, including competitive and future-state analysisFinancial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) Serve as a trusted business partner to leadership, guiding long-, mid-, and short-term decision-makingDrive the creation and management of annual budgets, quarterly forecasts, and monthly financial objectivesEstablish cost management practices aligned with strategic prioritiesAct as the single source of truth for financial performanceProduce financial reporting rhythms that support productivity and decision-makingDevelop financial models, analyze trends, compare actuals to forecasts, and provide recommendations to improve performanceConduct business studies on historical, comparative, and future performanceAccounting, Payroll, Tax & Compliance Oversee general ledger, balance sheet, and P&L accuracy and integrityManage monthly, quarterly, and annual close processesProduce weekly financial reports for leadershipOptimize finance and accounting systems to improve automation and accuracyEstablish and maintain accounting controls, policies, and proceduresEnsure compliance with all federal, state, and local financial and tax requirementsManage billing, collections, accounts receivable, and accounts payable processesAdminister loans, lines of credit, and cash-flow planningPartner with external CPA firms on tax planning, filings, and complianceSupport HR with payroll processing, bonus payouts, and financial audits as neededTreasury & Capital Strategy Develop and execute long-term capital strategies to support scale and growthManage relationships with banks, venture capital partners, family offices, and private equity firmsLegal, Insurance, Procurement & Administration Partner with business leaders to assess the financial impact of strategic and operational decisionsSupport back-office launches for new market entries across the U.S., Latin America, Asia, and EuropeOversee procurement and vendor management to ensure disciplined operating expense controlImplement secure, scalable digital tools and systems to support business operationsCorporate Development & Mergers & Acquisitions Serve as the primary financial interface with ownership and shareholders of target companiesLead financial diligence and evaluation during M&A processesExperience & Qualifications Significant finance leadership experience with a focus on business planning, FP&A, and scaling high-growth organizationsProven experience partnering with business leaders to drive operational and financial performanceStrong financial acumen, learning agility, and a hands-on, embedded leadership styleBachelor's degree in business, Economics, Finance, or Accounting requiredAdvanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel; experience with Power BI, Tableau, or similar visualization tools preferredCPA and/or CFA designation preferredAbout TalentoHC Founded in 2017, TalentoHC is a high-growth talent and organizational solutions firm operating in 15 countries.
