Grindroom LaborerShift: 6:25am - 4:00pmMonday through Friday, +Weekends as Production Schedule RequiresPay Rate: $21.69 per hourAll team members must abide by all of Burke's Plant Safety Rules!**RESPONSIBILITIES:**Supplies meat to the Grindroom from the meat receiving coolers via palletjackInspect productGrinds meatRemoves pallets and trash from the GrindroomOperates a metal detector belt and augerAbility to learn and perform multiple positions (Training will be provided)Work in temperatures 40-50 degrees and 32 degrees in the coolerBeing able to operate an electric pallet jack (In-house training provided)Ability to work in an environment that is fast pacedBeing able to lift up to 50 lbs.Ability to do repetitive tasksStanding, walking, pushing, lifting, bending, stepping up and downOperating food processing equipmentFollowing Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP's)Fill in for other plant positions as necessary (Additional pay provided for higher pay grade position)Basic Math skillsPerform any and all duties assigned by Supervisor**QUALIFICATIONS:**- 6 months of work history- Applicants must not now, or at any time in the future, require employer sponsorship for a work visa.- Applicants must be authorized to work in the United States for any employer.- Must be 18 years of age or older (all plant positions)**BENEFITS **- Health Insurance- Vision Insurance- Dental Insurance- Life Insurance- 401K- Flexible Spending Account- Profit-sharing- Short and Long Term Disability- Educational Assistance Program- Employee Assistance Program- Paid Holidays and PTO- Fitness Center- Product Discounts_Burke Corporation is a leader in the production of pizza toppings and other fully cooked meats.
