Company Description Asempe Kitchen, LLC, located in Ithaca, NY, was founded in October 2016 by Chef Kuukua Yomekpe and specializes in providing gluten, soy, and dairy-free, plant-based West African food. Asempe Kitchen uses food to encourage dialogue and curiosity about each other through Culinary Experiences, Cooking Classes, and Food Demonstrations. Operating primarily in Syracuse, Asempe Kitchen offers services within a 2-hour radius and specializes in pop-ups, cooking demos, and classes for both children and adults. Role Description This is a full-time on-site role for a Kitchen Assistant at Asempe Kitchen. The Kitchen Assistant will be responsible for food preparation, prepping vegetables, maintaining hygiene standards, providing excellent customer service, and assisting with food and beverage tasks.
