Position Summary We are seeking an experienced Project Manager / Owner’s Representative to oversee all aspects of construction projects from concept through completion, acting as the Owner’s trusted representative. This role is ideal for a highly organized, detail-oriented professional with strong leadership skills, deep construction knowledge, and a passion for delivering exceptional results. Key Responsibilities Manage project budgets, schedules, and deliverables from start to finish. Oversee design, permitting, and construction phases. Review and approve invoices, progress billings, and change orders. Coordinate with clients, vendors, contractors, and design professionals. Lead and document project meetings; maintain action item lists. Conduct site inspections to ensure quality, code compliance, and safety. Track submittals, RFIs, and approvals. Manage specific project scopes such as FF&E procurement. Prepare and distribute weekly project updates with progress photos. Support design development, CAD documentation, and code review. Review shop drawings, material samples, and estimates. Qualifications – Must Have Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Architecture, or related field (or equivalent experience). Minimum 5 years as a Project Manager in construction or development. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and MS Project; AutoCAD experience is a plus. Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills. General knowledge of building codes and construction systems. Valid New York State driver’s license and reliable transportation. Ability to work independently, manage multiple projects, and meet deadlines. Preferred Qualifications Architectural design and construction document preparation experience. Field measurement and verification skills. Military experience welcome. Work Environment & Physical Demands Combination of office and field work, including site visits over uneven terrain. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally and tolerate variable weather conditions during inspections. Flexible to work occasional irregular hours based on project needs.
