Job Description Join a fast-paced, high-volume operation as Director of Warehouse Operations, where you'll drive performance across inventory, fulfillment, and systems optimization. You'll partner closely with executive leadership and warehouse management to lead process improvements, enhance WMS/ERP functionality, and implement automation and AI-driven solutions that increase efficiency, scalability, and compliance. This is a hands-on leadership position for someone who thrives in complex distribution environments and can translate strategy into operational excellence.Director of Warehouse Operations – Your Job DutiesAct as a critical liaison for the executive team to provide operational updates, recommendations, and strategic planning insightsManage and collaborate with the Warehouse Manager to strategize on operational improvements and oversee execution of company-wide inventory management processes and inbound and outbound inventory workflowsImplement process improvements to optimize space utilization and labor efficiencyContribute to the optimization of core systems functionality including ERP systems and Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) with a focus on automation and efficiencyEvaluate and recommend AI and automation tools to enhance overall warehouse operationsMonitor, manage and continuously improve upon warehouse processes to meet strict compliance requirements of major customersDirector of Warehouse Operations – You Have (Skills, Experience & Team Fit)Strong leadership experience with a collaborative, team-building approachPrior experience with seasonal business operationsPrior experience working with WMS and ERP systems and improving upon system and data processesPrior experience overseeing warehouse teams, leads, and managers to operational excellencePrior experience managing a high-volume warehouse environment with a broad customer base and high SKU count.Familiarity with maintaining consistent safety and OSHA compliance protocols in a warehouse settingAbility to balance high-level operational planning with hands-on involvement when neededThe ability to work on-site in the Dallas/Fort Worth areaFlexibility to support weekend or emergency needs during peak retail seasonsYou Might Have:Background in apparel, soft goods, consumer goods, or the fashion industryExperience using Aptean MomentisDirector of Warehouse Operations – Benefits for YouThe target compensation for this Director of Warehouse Operations role will be a base salary in the range of $150,000 to $175,000 plus bonus. You will be provided with comprehensive medical, dental, and vision insurance, a 401k with company contribution, and paid time off and holidays. You will work on-site in the Fort Worth / Dallas area, collaborating directly with leadership and operational teams where your visibility and influence drive real results.
