QNX/Linux Embedded Engineer
Job Title: QNX/Linux Embedded Engineer Location: Mountain View, CA/Detroit, MI (Onsite) We are seeking a skilled QNX/Linux Embedded Engineer with strong experience in embedded systems development, real-time operating systems, and low-level software programming. The ideal candidate will have hands-on expertise in QNX and Embedded Linux environments, device driver development, BSP customization, and debugging complex embedded applications. Responsibilities:Design, develop, and maintain embedded software solutions using QNX and Embedded Linux.Develop and customize BSPs (Board Support Packages) for embedded platforms.Work on device driver development and integration for peripherals and communication interfaces.Perform kernel-level debugging, system optimization, and performance tuning.Develop software in C/C++ for real-time and embedded applications.Integrate hardware and software components across embedded systems.Troubleshoot system-level issues involving bootloaders, networking, memory, and peripherals.Collaborate with cross-functional teams including hardware, firmware, validation, and application engineering teams.Support software testing, integration, and deployment activities.Ensure software quality through code reviews, unit testing, and documentation. Required Skills:Strong experience with QNX RTOS and Embedded Linux.Proficiency in C and C++ programming.Experience with BSP development/customization.Knowledge of device driver development.Strong understanding of POSIX, multithreading, IPC, memory management, and synchronization.Experience with communication protocols such as CAN, UART, SPI, I2C, Ethernet, or USB.Familiarity with kernel debugging and performance optimization tools.Experience using Git, build systems, and embedded debugging tools.
