Rooted in ancient healing traditions and modern wellness, Tierra Santa offers a holistic, guest-centered approach to well-being. The Spa Receptionist serves as the welcoming presence and operational hub of the spa, ensuring a seamless, calm, and elevated guest experience from arrival through departure. This role manages bookings, guest flow, and front-desk operations while maintaining a serene environment consistent with Faena New York’s luxury wellness standards. The Spa Receptionist balances refined guest service with strong organizational and administrative skills.This is a full time position with an hourly compensation of $36.00 per hour.Duties And ResponsibilitiesGreet guests warmly and professionally upon arrivalManage check-in and check-out procedures, ensuring accuracy and efficiencyProvide clear information regarding spa services, amenities, and policiesMaintain a calm, polished demeanor that sets the tone for the spa experienceAssist VIP guests and special requests in coordination with Spa leadershipManage spa appointments, cancellations, and modifications using the booking systemMaximize treatment utilization while maintaining proper pacing and therapist schedulingConfirm appointments and manage daily schedules for therapists and aestheticiansCommunicate guest preferences, notes, and special requests to the service teamProcess payments, gratuities, and retail purchases accuratelyMaintain guest profiles, notes, and service history in the systemSupport daily reporting, end-of-day reconciliation, and cash handlingMaintain cleanliness and organization of reception and retail areasEducate guests on spa products and services, supporting retail salesEnsure retail displays are organized, stocked, and visually aligned with brand standardsAssist with inventory tracking and restocking as neededQualifications1–3 years of front desk, spa, or luxury hospitality experience preferredStrong guest service and communication skillsFamiliarity with spa booking systems and POS platformsComfortable handling payments and administrative responsibilitiesProfessional appearance and demeanor SkillsWarm, composed, and guest-focused presenceStrong organizational and multitasking abilitiesClear verbal and written communicationAttention to detail and accuracyAbility to remain calm in a fast-paced, guest-facing environmentPHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORK ENVIRONMENTEndure various physical movements throughout the work areasAbility to move safely in uneven terrain or in confined spacesRemain active, constantly moving, or prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer throughout work shiftMedium Work: Exerting up to 40 pounds of force occasionally, and/or 20 pounds of force frequently, and/or up to 10 pounds of constantly moving objects, may occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 poundsAdditional InformationAll your information will be kept confidential according to EEO guidelines.
