Employment Type:Full timeShift:Day ShiftDescription:Position Purpose:At Naugatuck Valley Surgical Center, part of Saint Mary's Hospital, the Registered Nurse (RN) in the Operating Room (OR) delivers safe, high-quality care to surgical patients.What You Will DoProvide intraoperative care by performing circulating and/or scrub duties, including patient positioning, site prep, instrumentation, and sterile technique.Collaborate with the surgical team to ensure efficient, coordinated care throughout procedures.Minimum QualificationsRequired:Graduation from an accredited nursing program with an Associate's degree in Nursing is requiredValid RN license in ConnecticutIdeal candidates will have 1 or more years of intraoperative nursing experience, including circulating and scrub experiencePreferred:Current BLS/CPR (AHA or Red Cross)Familiarity with AORN standardsImportant ConsiderationThis role is not designed for new graduates or those seeking training through the Periop 101 program.
