A successful candidate will have a genuine passion for the hospitality industry and an entrepreneurial spirit.ResponsibilitiesGreet every guest with a smile and maintain eye contactMust be courteous and gracious, maintaining a professional demeanor at all timesEstablish and maintain good communications and team work with fellow colleagues and other departments within the hotelOffer guests an enjoyable experience that conforms to the hotel’s standards of excellence, professionalism and friendlinessDemonstrate expert understanding and knowledge of the sequence of service, following this sequence for every guestEnsure all furniture in event area is clean and arranged properlyHelp set up and break down event equipment, including delivering event supplies to the space as neededEnsure that all public areas are neat and cleanReplenish event supplies during event breaks as neededEnsure all equipment is returned to its proper area and all areas are cleaned upon conclusion of the eventComplete prep and side work efficiently so focused attention during the event can be given fully to guest careMaintain cleanliness of event work area and equipmentAttend all pre-function meetings required to ensure events flow smoothlyService all aspects of the event operation in accordance with all departmental and hotel standardsTake ownership of all service issues brought to your attention by guestsMust be able to lift, grasp, hold up to 50LBS.Maintain an increased awareness of safety issues throughout the hotelParticipate in scheduled departmental and administrative meetings as requestedCore CompetenciesHigh School diploma or general education degree (GED)Two (2) years related experience in hospitality or service industry preferredStrong communication skillsCollaborative spiritEthical ConductComputer Proficiency: Microsoft Office, Opera PMS Positive AttitudeEye for DetailProblem solving abilitiesOur Doors Are Yours To Open…The LINE is proud to be an equal opportunity workplace that seeks to recruit, develop and retain the most talented people from a variety of backgrounds, perspectives, and skills.
