OverviewFull-Time – Remote/Hybrid/In-Office. For those based in the Chicagoland area, the first 90 days will be onsite. After that, your schedule—remote, hybrid, or in-office—will be determined based on performance and team needs.About The Role: We are seeking an experienced, solution-oriented Senior .NET Software Engineer to support our flagship software platform. The ideal candidate is collaborative, pragmatic, and accountable, and thrives in a team-oriented environment.Responsibilities and ExpectationsBuild & Architecture (~50%): Architectural vision: Develop technical designs for new features, ensuring scalability and high performance.Build Solutions: Lead software development from design to deployment, setting standards for the team.Modernization: Enhance core platform features while driving insights through integrated analytics tools.Ideation & Mentorship (~30%): Problem solving: Brainstorm creative and practical solutions to complex challenges.Mentorship: Guide other developers on coding best practices, both the "how" and "why," fostering a collaborative learning environment.Collaboration: Partner with Product, Design, and QA teams to bring curiosity, pride, and attention to detail to every project.Quality & Communication (~20%): Code review: Lead and participate in reviews to ensure the codebase remains high-quality, secure, and performant.Technical communication: Clearly articulate complex concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.Ownership: Provide detailed development plans, high-quality estimates, and proactive updates on progress and blockers.What You\'ll Need5+ years of experience with ASP.NET (MVC, Core, or Blazor) and Entity Framework/Dapper5+ years working with SaaS productsA naturally curious, pragmatic, and detail-oriented mindsetStrong communication skills and comfort demoing work in front of stakeholdersFamiliarity with Azure Portal, SQL Server Management Studio, and Atlassian products (Jira/Confluence)Bonus: Experience with Sentry, LinqPad, or design tools such as Figma/FigJamWhat Success Looks LikeThe product and engineering teams feel supported and confident that technical work is handled with excellenceSystem architectures are seamless, scalable, and efficient for the engineering teamYou are a trusted mentor and go-to partner for your teammatesHigh-quality code is delivered efficiently and reliably, solving real-world problems for the end usersJ-18808-Ljbffr
