Staff Software Development Engineer

Position Summary We are looking for a Staff Software Development Engineer who will serve as both a technical lead and an individual contributor, building our next‐generation platform to deliver digital health solutions. The role includes creating proof‐of‐concepts, collaborating across teams, providing expert support, and driving performance improvements in our digital ecosystem. Responsibilities Leverage expertise to design and implement efficient, scalable solutions that meet business requirements and quality standards. Contribute to solution design and architecture discussions, collaborating with architects and senior engineers. Provide input on technical feasibility, performance optimization, and scalability considerations. Participate in code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards, best practices, and quality guidelines. Communicate and coordinate with team members to ensure alignment and provide technical insights. Contribute to the adoption of best practices, new technologies, and tools to enhance productivity and code quality. Participate in knowledge‐sharing activities such as tech talks and workshops to foster a learning culture. Work with other developers to implement complex features, enhance existing functionality, and deliver high‐quality code. Provide guidance and mentorship to junior developers, helping them improve technical skills and grow professionally. Required Qualifications 7+ years of experience in enterprise solution delivery within a large‐scale distributed software design environment. 5+ years of Java development experience. 5+ years of hands‐on experience with enterprise cloud initiatives and solutions. 5+ years of designing and developing modern microservices and cost‐effective APIs. 3+ years of experience with CI/CD pipeline automation. 3+ years of experience in an Agile‐based development environment. 2+ years of experience with Agentic AI / Generative AI. Preferred Qualifications Health and wellness domain experience. Full‐stack development experience using AngularJS, JavaScript, Oracle, and other modern databases such as NoSQL. Strong understanding of generative AI concepts and techniques, including NLP, text generation, summarization, conversational AI, and chatbots. Experience developing user‐facing features and applications. Ability to create and execute roadmaps that balance progress, innovation, and scalable growth. Ability to learn and work with emerging technologies, methodologies, and cloud/IT solutions. Ability to collaborate across organizational boundaries, build relationships, and achieve broader organizational goals. Education Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience (high school diploma plus 4 years of relevant experience). Pay Range The typical base pay for this role is $106,605.00 – $284,280.00, with additional eligibility for bonus, commission, or short‐term incentive programs and an equity award target.
